Subtitle Requests

This folder contains English AI-generated subtitle files created through the AISub Bot request system on the Eito Discord.

These subtitles are generated automatically and are provided as a last-resort option for videos that do not currently have active human subbing support. They are useful for basic viewing, searching, timing references, or as a starting point for manual subtitle editing.

Folder structure

Requests are organized by date.

/subtitles/Other/Requests/
├── 2025/ (Old)
├── 202601/
├── 202602/
├── ....../

Monthly folders use the YYYYMM format. Older requests may be grouped under a yearly folder such as 2025/.

File format

Most files in this folder are .ass subtitle files.

Typical filenames include:

[date] [title/source information] [platform-id] [REQUEST].ass

Examples of source tags you may see include:

[youtube-VIDEO_ID]
[TVer-episode_id]
[GoogleDrive-file_id]
[BiliBili-BV...]
[FBC-...]
[REQUEST]

The [REQUEST] tag means the subtitle was generated from a user request through the AISub Bot system.

How to find subtitles

Use the folder search or browse by month.

The newest request folders are usually the best place to check first. Sorting by update time may help if you are looking for recently generated subtitles.

If you are unsure which file matches your video, compare the following:

  • Video title
  • Upload or broadcast date
  • Platform ID, such as YouTube ID, TVer episode ID, Google Drive ID, or BiliBili BV ID
  • Idol group, member name, or show title in the filename

Accuracy notice

These subtitles are AI-generated.

They may contain:

  • Incorrect translations
  • Misheard names
  • Wrong speaker identification
  • Missing jokes, puns, or cultural context
  • Timing issues
  • Lines that need manual cleanup

Please treat them as rough subtitles, not polished releases.

For subbing groups

Subbing groups are welcome to use these files as a starting point for proper releases.

Suggested workflow:

  1. Check timing and line breaks.
  2. Correct names, group terms, and recurring phrases.
  3. Rewrite unnatural English.
  4. Review jokes, captions, and variety-show-specific wording.
  5. Add credits according to your group’s usual style.

No credit is required, but it is appreciated if these files helped your release.

Requesting new subtitles

New subtitle requests should be submitted through the AISub Bot on the Eito Discord.

Discord:

https://discord.gg/bdz7qZbrwu

After processing, completed request subtitles are uploaded here automatically when available.

Important notes

  • This folder is for requested automated subtitles only.
  • Availability depends on whether the request could be processed successfully.
  • Some videos may fail because of source access issues, audio problems, unavailable files, or unsupported formats.
  • If a human subbing group is actively working on a show, please support their release instead.
